Do not support single use micro-transaction items in a single-player rpg. If you are an achievement completionist DO NOT BUY THIS GAME as there is an achievement that was just released in a patch (11/5) that requires either several hundred dollars of REAL money or thousands of hours of game time in lackluster breach mode to get 6 items that are solely based on RNG aka luck. This was not an oversight. THIS WAS BY DESIGN.

Mankind Divided Deus Ex

Square Enix is attempting to place a freemium-esque 'pay to play' framework inside of a $60 dollar supposedly 'full featured' game. This behavior MUST be swiftly labeled as predatory and anti-consumer or it will only continue with subsequent releases. You have been warned. Submitted on 8/25/2016 Review title of Holy Saint AlecTrue to the legacy.Twelve hours in, and only 12% through. Taking time to explore and reading the lore items not only extends the game astronomically, but it also brings a thick level of satisfaction out of playing as well.

There is an awesome attention to detail that masterfully aides in the role play. The 3 pillars (stealth, dialogue, combat) have never felt so good or tight. This game is a strong contender for GOTY, has excellent replay value, and is potentially the best in the series to date. Love this game!

Submitted on 9/28/2016 Review title of Nocte VagusDividedThe gameplay mechanics, music and side quests were all pretty solid and great, However, the main plot felt extremely short and abruptly ended. There were numerous major plot points just left unaswered, Not to mention the 'cliffhanger' ending, which should've been dealt with in this game. That's not including the Day 1 'DLC', which most definitely should've been part of the main game. (As should all of the 'Jensen Stories'.)Breach is pretty fun and totally (Minus all the blatent MICRO-transactions in it and DE:GO) A great side game, but I believe it should have been worked on and released after the game had shipped. Perhaps released alongside System Rift. That being said I wouldn't want the next story of the series to suffer, while resources/time are diverted to it.All in all, it's fun game but needs more substance for the main plot. Hopefully the season pass will actually bring some great content (regardless of whether or not it should've been in the game already) to the table.

Submitted on Review title of Spectre Blast0Great game hurt by bad business practices.Would have been a great game if story was longer and launched complete but thanks to that along with bad business practices with day one dlc, questionable micro transactions, and what looks like cutting content out only to resell it back through dlc is just bad and wrong to consumer period. There are fairer and more reasonable practices to make more money after launch that is fair to both sides and what's been done here is shameful and i hope it's realized by Square Enix because game really focuses on cash grabbing to new levels that clearly effected game negatively.

While minor and some are just suggestions I think game could've benefited from having more outfits, weapons, and more boss battles and breach while ok I think some kind of horde mode instead or simply just more campaign DLC would've been better ideas. In the end a good game that could've been great, could've been longer, cleary suffered from having a bad business model, and fortunately still worth your time and money too. Submitted on 4/17/2017 Review title of NeededTerror822😠 story not complete on disc1st off I want to say I love this series. That being said this would've been a great decendant of it if it was longer and the story not partly untold due to greed. Yes folks 60 dollars is not enough for the whole story line. We must pay more.

Overall great gameplay, superb graphics though oddly not as futuristic feeling as past intallments in the series have felt. Wait for the full content disc with dlc so you don't pay 100 plus for the rest of the story. I suppose that may be a fair price for some fans of the series. Too expensive in my opinion though for the complete story.

You have been warned. Submitted on 9/19/2016 Review title of Lord TakahashiAmazing game, great for Stealth players! At the time of writing this, i just completed my first playthrough on Give me Deus Ex Difficulty. No alarms triggers, no kills. That was an amazing experience! The story is wonderful and deep, and playing the previous game Human Revolution makes things so much more enjoyable.

Of course it's not required as it'll explain the previous game to you if you wish.I only used two weapons the entire game (My choice), but i do know that customization is useful and the gunplay is enjoyable. Augmentations were the best part obviously. Many to choose from and can fit how you play. I personally mostly used hacking and non-lethal augments. Graphically things looked great.

There was plenty to explore and a few different locations. Side quests were put together nicely and told interesting stories. There's a minigame as well that was a nice addition.Lastly, while Microtrasactions are a thing.

They ARE NOT required to enjoy the game. I never purchased any and had plenty of credits/praxis. Submitted on Review title of GreysteelA Divided ExperienceThe Good- Great storyOn par with the best political thrillers out there.- Solid gameplay Cyborg Tank or Cyberpunk ninja, it all feels great.- Incredible art direction Continues HR's beautiful cyber-rennasance theme.- Breach mode Good for quick sessions or arcade challenge junkies.- ImmersiveEverywhere you go you can feel the racists xenophobia of a post 'aug terrorist attack' society. Little things like police harassing you at checkpoints, a mother telling her kid not to look at you, and 'no augs' signs in shops and bars really add to the atmosphere.- Replayability The depth of possibilities will lead to multiple playthrus and hundreds of hours. The Bad- Abrupt, unsatisfying endings.

Feels half the length it should have been.- Microtransactions, need I say more? Once purchaced they are only avalable for ONE playthru. Start a new game and they cannot be reacquired.- Some technical/visual bugs Frame rate drops, stiff animations, and some lip-syncing is off.
