I've been having an issue where Windows Store behaves strangely whenever attempting to download or update any app. The download status bar that displays beside a pending app in the 'Downloads and Updates' section of the store basically does this in an infinite loop:The pause/stop buttons appear for exactly one frame and can be clicked on with proper timing, but upon resuming the download, the same glitch happens. This issue occurs with every single app I've tried, on both of the SSDs I have. If repairing through the Windows Powershell still didn't work, you should create another administrator account then observe if the issue persists. Thanks for the reply. I ran PowerShell as an administrator and entered in the supplied text, but unfortunately, it didn't fix the issue.I then made another administrator account (a local account not tied to a MS account) and tried to download an app from the store there.

I was able to get it to spit out error code 0x80246007 before the issue began on that account. Upon a little research, I was unable to find consistent information about said error code, however. What should I do from here?Edited by N1GHTMAR3, 12 August 2017 - 11:10 PM. The store apps autoupdate at boot sometimes if you look in the event viewer logs. Sneaky!!Do you have the Microsoft Account Sign-in assistant service running? After looking around the net for the 'Restoring User Data' thing some folks have just left it to run and after 12 hours or so it has completedThe Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant service is currently stopped. Should I start it?Unfortunately, my issue is pretty much in an endless loop. I've left the download attempt running for days, even weeks at a time, and it still does the exact same thing.

I have had this exact issue for several months, actually.Edited by N1GHTMAR3, 13 August 2017 - 01:23 AM. I have had a very similar problem for several months and tried many suggested fixes including those you describe. Nobody could offer a solution until in the end a MS tech via chat advised me to carry out a repair re-install. He / she downloaded the ISO / Image for me. I was concerned about the very low storage space on my C drive until I found I could launch it from any external drive, as long as it has NTFS file system. So I could do it both through my NTFS USB external backup drive or even a (8 GB plus) flash thumb drive re-formatted for the purpose. It was easier than I expected (I am reluctant to do re-installs until absolutely necessary). As well as solving ths Store issue (but see below) it cured a few other long-standing problems like not being able to set a Pin code for sign-in.

The Store which had a queue of around 40 pending downloads / updates got to work installing all but 2.That is the positive part of the story. The negatives are that I still have not been able to install a few new apps or it takes many attempts (usually carried out automatically by Windows) and worse, in the last day I have been unable to open the Store again. At this stage I do not know if this is the return of the previous issue or a new (hopefully simpler one). But if I do have to carry out a repair install again I will be less reluctant especially as it hardly affected my files, apps, third-party programs at all (with a few easily resolved exceptions).I hope this experience helps. If so I expect you will want to research repair install first - though if I can help let me know, although I have little expertise.

Enabling it made my sound go from very quiet to quiet. I would like earphone volume that can make me go deaf, that's how I'm sure I can hear it. The volume level for my headphones on my laptop suddenly became too low. Even at maximum volume, it is still way too soft to hear comfortably. Check under audio setting see if someone mutted your windows sound. That means you can adjust volume independently on both of your connected device. Android: Also check your Media volume settings if volume is set to max,. Jbl headphones low volume Anyone else notice this and have a fix? On max volume its just moderately loud.
