Freezer Door Opens When Fridge Door Shuts

This is a typical occurance with these unit it has alot lot do do with the the air volume in the fridge and some times how fast the doors are being closed there is no place for the air to escape so it is pushed throught the freezer compartment.you can try and clean out your drain holes to your drain pan this will give the air a place to go.even if it a design flaw it sould not cost you any money,because it would be a factory defect and the manufacture would replace the unit.this is something that may go away all by itselfPosted on Feb 03, 2010.
